Our Learning Philosophy

The Pivot Point system is based on integrating various types of teaching mediums to suit different learning styles.  Our resources vary from traditional textbooks, to DVDs, interactive web-based e-learning, hands on practical exercises, demonstrations, and supervised activities. So whether you’re the type of person that likes to learn by looking at things, reading things or having a go yourself, our educators will support you to help you learn the way that comes most natural to you.


STUDENT MANAGED LEARNING APPROACH

The education at our Academy is delivered in a student managed learning environment. This means that you progress according to your learning ability. If you find that you learn some things very quickly, you can advance through your course sooner. If your learning ability means you need longer to attain the outcome - that’s okay too. Our educators are always there to help when you need it.
