General Manager of Pivot Point International Academy - Ruth Browne has been a focal personality in the hairdressing industry for over 20 years. With an impressive wealth of experience in the hairdressing arena including competition judging both nationally and internationally, Ruth was awarded and inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ at the 2006 Hair Expo Awards for her contribution to the industry. A former educator herself, Ruth personally steers the education outcomes of the many students that come to the academy. Her expertise is much sought after by both local and international hairdressing bodies and her unwavering commitment to the quality education the Pivot Point system delivers has resulted in the brand going from strength to strength in the Asia-Pacific region. Ruth also sits on various education committees and industry boards at a national level. Ruth is a Victorian Executive Member of ACPET (Australian Council for Private Education and Training), Director of HBIA (Hairdressing & Beauty Industry Association) in Victoria and the ACPET Representative on the Hairdressing Training Package Review Committee. Under Ruth’s expert guidance, Pivot Point International Academy is now the most respected hairdressing institution in Australia and New Zealand producing many successful graduates who enter the job market each year. |
