Foundation Hairdressing Courses

Foundation Courses are a series of short hairdressing courses for  begineers - they deliver the basic technical skills in each hairdressing  discipline: Hair Design, Sculpture, Long Hair Design, Colour and  Texture.

Foundations courses can be taken alone or in combination. Each of the  courses delivers technical units from the WRH30109 Certificate III in  Hairdressing, allowing students to apply credits towards a Certificate  III in Hairdressing qualification after successful completion of live  model assessments.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE

This course is ideal for anyone wishing to develop the technical skills required for hairdressing:

• Make up artists or session stylists looking to develop hair design or long hair design skills
• Recently qualified apprentices needing to master ladies' and mens' sculpture
• Those needing gap training in specific technical skill areas, such as chemical perming or straightening
• Those considering pursuing a full Certificate III in Hairdressing Qualification in future
